Winter time on Maui! What’s new? We’ve had some really wet days and just because the sun isn’t coming out to play doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun! The food on island is hot and the fun continues with great new locations to try:

The Tiki Bar & Grill at Ka’anapali Beach Hotel has a new food menu that is fresh and appealing. It includes more gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options as well as new pupu items like kalua pork nachos, fresh-caught fish tacos, and crispy, fried zucchini. Keeping things green, all of the eatery’s food items are served in reusable baskets.

The Tiki Bar also has a new collection of island-themed cocktails, including a Mamaki Old-Fashioned, which is a combination of Hawaii-sourced mamaki tea, Redemption Whiskey, fresh-squeezed lemon, Falernum liqueur and bitters. There are alcohol-free mocktail libations too. Choices include Lime in a Coco, Mango Season, and Goodie Girl (strawberry, lemon, lime, vanilla, condensed milk, and club soda).

Kaanapali Beach Hotel has also partnered with Waikiki Brewing Company to begin serving KBH Hefe, a brand new craft brew exclusive to the hotel. The hotel team describes the brew as an “unfiltered, cloudy, golden wheat beer with a beautiful light and airy taste.”

Ka’anapali Beach Hotel’s Tiki Terrace, an open-air courtyard location that offers Hawaii Regional Cuisine, has expanded its wine and cocktail list. The bar will now be giving center stage to wines from Italy, France and Spain. This fun, oceanside location has an epic sunset view and is a great place to take in some island people-watching!
