Owyhee County Sheriff Perry Grant will soon leave department

OWYHEE COUNTY, Idaho )CBS2) — Owyhee County Sheriff Perry Grant says he will soon be leaving the department after more than 10 years in the position.

Grant says his family has a business opportunity, something they have been pushing since October, and cannot wait any longer. Grant did not say what the opportunity was to avoid jinxing it.

Grant has been in law enforcement for over 22 years. He says his last day will be March 31.
